Selina's useful (works for me) hints for phonemes

Best taken with a grain of salt...
1. ɪə- ie: can you HEAR me?
2. ʊ- Looks like a smile, and when someone lOOks at you, you smile :)
3. eɪ- Old Mc. donald would SAY "ei ei o"
4. əʊ- Upside E, but eu- European Union, i GO to the e.u. (this ones a stretch)
5. eə- this one just kinda looks like AIR to me
